New to the field of real estate, Richard DeVita joined Michael Saunders & Company in August 2022 with a passion to broaden his knowledge of the industry. With a bachelor’s and master’s degree in strategic communications, Richard is affable, committed to making a difference, and prides himself on understanding the needs of other people and treating each customer with respect and kindness.
Born and rais... more.ed in Sarasota, Richard knows the area well, and fittingly, his favorite place in the city is the white powder sands of Siesta Beach. Richard is known for his desire to learn as much as he can, an attribute that will help him expand his skills as a new agent. He plans to go above and beyond while providing excellent service in helping his customers with their next housing move.
Additionally, Richard holds a master’s degree in teaching (kindergarten through sixth grade) and is working toward a doctorate in educational leadership. Before becoming an agent, he was an assistant teacher and teacher for elementary-aged students, as well as a tutor for students in kindergarten through 10th grade.
Richard’s parents, Richard and Colleen, two sisters, Gabrielle and Ciara, brother, Michael, and cousin, Joe, are good company when taking time to relax, whether at the beach, traveling to Disney World or to numerous activities and events in Tampa. Richard looks forward to serving buyers’ and sellers’ real estate needs in the hometown he loves so much.
