Geographically located east of I-75, the communities of East Manatee consist of riverfront, golfing and country club living along with many ranches and “Old Florida” homes sprinkled throughout the area. Waterlefe offers a boating and golfing community with residential options including townhouses, carriage homes and single-family residences. Some of the homes are nestled along the Manatee River, while others may offer frontage on Waterlefe golf course. Greenfield Plantation is just west of Waterlefe and offers a range of single-family homes. To the north and east of Waterlefe sits Mill Creek, a community that boasts homes on large sites with a country in the city feel. Heading south from Waterlefe is the River Club, a beautiful riverfront community with larger homes that range in sizes from 2,000 square feet upwards of more than 4,000 square feet.
East Manatee communities offer a location that is close to I-75 for an easy commute north to St. Petersburg or Tampa as well as an easy drive south to Sarasota and Venice. Many of the communities are newer as this area of Manatee County is the most recent to be developed. New grocery stores, retail centers and medical facilities are developing in this ever-expanding area.
