Three months ago I met Mr. Lin Dunn from the Siesta key office of Michael Saunders & Co. It was to be my first acquisition of a home by myself at the age of 68. To say I was nervous and a little apprehensive is an understatement.but from the very start your associate Lin Dunn was the most helpful and professional real estate agent I have ever met. Mr Dunn always made me feel totally comfortable and his kindness and knowledge of the area helped me through this process beautifully. Even after finding the right condo, the help I continued to receive from Mr. Dunn was outstanding He told me from the beginning, if I needed anything to not hesitate to call him and he would be happy to help me. Linn was great. Our first outing with him on a all rainy day was great he really paid attention to what we wanted and also showed what we thought we wanted and showed us why we didn't. When you work with someone on one of life's larger transactions, you want to have this man on your side. There is a lot to learn, Lin does that. Alot to do, organize and accomplish, and he is there every step with every detail. From the start he was clear he wanted me to be happy with the process and the outcome. When have you had someone offer that level of service? He stayed in contact. And ultimately Lin brought me the competing offers on my condo (yea). And really got me the best price he could. Our experience with Lin Dunn was excellent! My wife and I were a little apprehensive about leaving Illinois and looking to buy a home in Siesta Key, Florida.  We had visited Siesta Key only a few times.  A family friend, who is also a Realtor, referred us to Lin Dunn as she did not feel she had the expertise to meet our needs.  Lin is a true professional.  Lin first introduced himself telephonically and spent a good hour getting to know us and what our housing needs were (single-family, townhouse, condo) and if we were looking for more of a golf course community or more of an eclectic beachy lifestyle.  Rose and I did not have good answers for Lin, so Lin decided to dedicate several days educating us on Sarasota and Siesta Keys.  We learned about Palmer Ranch, West of the Trail, to condos on the beach and so much more.  After days with Lin, we were able to let Lin know we did not like any housing that entailed major renovation or knocking down a house, so Lin focused us on new construction housing or vacant lots.  With Lin's help, we decided that golf course living was not for us and eclectic beachy was for us.  Lin then narrowed down the search to empty lots (mostly quarter acre) and homes that we could buy and knockdown.  With Lin's help, we were able to purchase a half-acre lot just a 10-minute walk from the Siesta Key Village!!! How great!! Lin also introduced us to four builders. After interviewing them or their representatives, Rose and I were confident that John Cannon Homes was the right builder for us.  We have had several meetings with the builder and have made most of our selections.  Lin continues to stay involved as we build to help us with encroachment issues, tree removal and general information and referrals to contractors that we might need.  Lin Dunn represents your company in the most professional and fun way.  I would highly recommend Lin Dunn and have recommended him to family members who are thinking of moving to Florida.

Lin is an experienced realtor with a solid knowledge base of the local market and current pricing. He orchestrated and developed excellent marketing materials and brochures, ensured my property was correctly entered into the local multiple listing services and then actively marketed to the broader community. In addition, Lin exceeded my expectations when my AC failed and I was unavailable. He coordinated various AC providers and got it fixed. There were a couple of other instances where his service went beyond the "typical realtor's support". Ultimately, property sold near asking price. He did an excellent job.

Lin Dunn was not even our agent when my wife and I bought our vacation rental on Siesta Key. He was the seller's agent. I was instantly impressed with his kindness and professionalism, so I asked him to manage the place for us. Lin was there for us through the good times and the hard times. He went way beyond the "call of duty" to keep things rolling smoothly. I flew out there to do some fix up work, and he was there helping me get things done. My husband and I bought a condo in downtown Sarasota and then several years later upgraded to a house with Lin acting as our agent, tour guide and friend. Lin also sold our condo for us. We were new to Sarasota and Lin spent time showing us around and then taking me to different furniture stores so that I could furnish the condo. What topped everything was when we were flying in to Sarasota and to what was then an empty condo and Lin offered to order a bed for us so that we would have somewhere to sleep when we arrived. We were arriving in the evening and I brought sheets with me to make up the bed. When we got to the condo, there was the bed, fully made up with fresh sheets, new pillows, even a bed spread and skirt. Needless to say, this was service way beyond what we expected or had ever experienced before. Lin likes being helpful and will go out of his way to make everything as smooth as possible for his clients.
