Stuart is Top Notch! In the beginning of the relationship Stuart promised to be professional, hard working, personable, and at our side through the entire selling process. I was skeptical that he could fulfill all those promises but decided to list with him anyway. Not one moment after making that decision did I feel as though I made a mistake. Stuart is one of those rare individuals that sets the bar for himself very high and then does exactly what he says will do. He is honest, hard working and loyal. At the end of December, my husband and I were in Sarasota looking at a host of different communities for a two bedroom vacation condo. Although we had never visited the Lakewood Ranch area, we thought we'd look around there. After meeting with representatives at Lakewood National, we immediately fell in love with it, but wanted to see a few other places just to be sure. We walked into the Michael Saunders office in Lakewood Ranch and asked to speak with someone about the area. Although we did not have an appointment, they were happy to speak with us. We met with Stuart Lawrence and he gave us a great deal of feedback on the area and based on what our interests, he said he would email us a few places to drive by and if anything was of interest to let him know. By the time we got to our car, we had an email with several properties that fit our wish list. After seeing a few, we noticed there were two were located in LW National where we had looked earlier in the day on our own. Stuart was able to have his partner (wife) Laura meet us later that day to show us the units. One of which was the one we had seen earlier with the builders real estate rep., after some discussion we decided to purchase the first unit we saw. Since we were dealing with Laura and Stuart they became our realtors and helped guide us through the purchase process. A very valuable piece of advice they gave us was to hire an outside home inspector which was very helpful. Laura and Stuart are very professional and knowledgeable of not just the Lakewood Ranch communities but many communities in Sarasota. Seiing or buying a home in Florida is not that easy, and it can also presents problems. We were very fortunate to have Laura and Stuart Lawrence recommended to us by a former neighbor. As someone from Hong Kong and completely new to Florida, I stumbled upon Laura and Stuart when I was searching for a Florida home online because they were the listing agents for one of the homes in the University Park/Lakewood Ranch areas in which I was interested. I called them. On my first call with Laura, and Stuart they listened patiently to a number of complicating factors affecting my requirements for a home, including proximity to a tennis academy, safety issues and uncertainty regarding my length of stay in FL that can all potential affect the financial value of my home purchase. We inquired about a property on a national Realtor site and we received an actual call from Stuart the listing agent! We were amazed he took the time to chat and uncover our needs. Stuart has done a great job of working with my parents to sell their second home in Bradenton. It was no easy task as my Mom is a 25 yr retired Realtor! He was very professional and respectful that she knew how it all goes.
