Originally owned by one of Sarasota's pioneering founders, Bertha Honore Palmer, the Eagle Point Club on Roberts Bay was a private hunting and fishing resort in the earliest days of Venice, Florida. In the early 1920s, the 24-acre waterfront property was sold to the Curtis family of Baltimore and, in 1989, was officially recognized as Sarasota County's oldest continuously operated winter resort. Indeed, the Eagle Point Club is noted for being one of the oldest continuously operated family-owned businesses in the United States.
This prestigious neighborhood is renowned for its stunning waterfront location, with many homes boasting panoramic views of Roberts Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway. The community's appeal lies in its secluded, private atmosphere combined with its proximity to Venice's amenities. Residents enjoy a lifestyle that seamlessly integrates coastal living with upscale comfort, making it particularly attractive to those seeking a refined, yet relaxed Florida experience.
