Three years ago I was set to retire from Washington, D.C. and hired Barbara May at the strong recommendation of a friend based upon his acquisition experience with her. Barbara explained why Sarasota would be a better fit for me than Naples, and the search was on. This commenced a lengthy process due to Coved. Barbara patiently kept me apprised until the climate worked for me. Not only did she produce the perfect home, we were able to strike a transactionthe day before it hit the market. Barbara tilized her wealth of resouces to provide A-Z services. This proved to be invaluable in a city where I had none. There was no end to her attention to above and beyond detail, and I can be a challenge. Ultimatel, I am super happy in Sarasota, and Barbara has become a friend. Not only would I recommend her, I would tell a friend they would be insane NOT to work with her. Why? Because she makes it a fun, positive experience.

Jaguar- in- the- white- linen- shirt is the best of the best.... the business of buying or selling a house is always fraught with stresses and anxieties and jaguar took care of my interests since 2019 when i first met her.... she helped me buy a house in 2021 and then was the one to help me sell it in 2022.... quickly and efficiently .... ha ha with a bit of bossing.... she was always there for me and was the realtor with whom i had the best rapport in all my experiences of buying/selling my homes during my 5 decades in the usa. a realtor has to be a good psychologist and also culturally aware and sensitive.... at which jaguar is an expert par excellence. i liked her sense of humour and good communication at all times

We were extremely pleased with Barbara's services in identifying and purchasing this condo. Barbara was exceptional in the professional way in which she did her job. She was recommended to us by a friend, Mark Spiegel, who had purchased a condo in Sarasota in 2018. I first contacted Barabra in late 2020 and talked with her about the Sarasota real estate market and our interest in purchasing a condo there. We came down to Sarasota in early March after we had been vaccinated and spent some time with Barbara looking at different properties. Based on our earlier discussions with her, she made very good choices of the properties that we looked at. The one that we wound up buying just came on the market while we were in Sarasota, and Barbara called me the night before to make a change in the following day's schedule to see this condo. This condo fit our needs perfectly, and we made an offer the next day that was accepted. We will certainly recommend Barbara to any of our friends that might be considering purchases in the Sarasota area.

We are now happy full time residents in SRQ and have bought two homes and sold one with Barbara May.She is outstanding in every way and belive me I drove her crazy looking at many properties.I learned in the process to listen to Barbara and missed a few she had recommended to my dismay afterwards. Barbara is a real professional knows all the ins and outs of a complicated business, She had wonderful recommendations for services one needs and she always responds quickly to any question you have including doing good research for you when needed on permits etc.She is a delightful, interesting person to work with and I can see why many clients become friends , including myself. You cannot find a better realtor you can have absolute trust on the buy and sell side.

Everything about Barbara Sasson May is above excellent. She was always thoughtful about the properties she was showing us and because of that, we trusted her advice about areas and the possible need to resell in the future. She is fun to be around, so much so I wish I was still shopping for homes. LOLAnyway, I would tell anyone looking for a home in Sarasota to contact Barbara. Not to gush, but she is smart, witty, and always follows through with any request. We both have enjoyed learning about Sarasota from her and look forward to seeing her in the future.
