I was delighted to work with Mary, Janis, and Ron on the sale of my Sarasota home this fall, and, prior to that, on the purchase of another home in Sarasota. Though I know they have many, many clients, they were always so response that they made me feel like I was the only one they were working with each time. Having Ron's expertise as a lawyer was extremely helpful and he patiently walked me through all of the forms and contracts and explained documents in layman's terms. They responded to every text, email and question immediately. And most important, they made something that could have been stressful and emotional (selling my childhood home), joyful and even fun - they kept everything light and made me feel positive about the decisions I was making. Mrs Janis Collier was extremely helpful in helping me find a new home. She went above and beyond in her helpfulness, including finding details of an appropriate fridge to order and putting me in contact with purveyors of a screen for the lanai and shutter services. She has a kind and friendly disposition, in addition to being very energetic as a realtor. She can be recommended unreservedly. Her husband Ron, who is an attorney, was also most helpful in his expertise. I will go to Janis should I need Realtor services in the future.

Second time using Janis and her team, first a purchase in downtown Sarasota and then 5 years later the sale. Being from Buffalo and not in town for the process both times, we had tremendous confidence that all was being handled, we were kept in the loop every step of the way. I was impressed both times at the way the Collier team went above and beyond, they coordinated the cleaning and staging of the unit, attended inspections and followed up on each item, assisted on the disposition of furniture, a trusted advisor, extremely knowledgeable of the market and the condos in the area. Highly recommended!

Janis and Ron did a wonderful job for us! They found our perfect new home and since it was new construction, did lots of hand holding and were available at all developer meetings to make sure we felt comfortable and understood all the details. The sale of our Lakewood Ranch home happened by in one day by Collier's networking abilities! They were able to get us over list price, we didn't have the hassle of readying the house for showings and leaving. Since we have a dog this would have been a huge inconvenience. Janis and Ron are so easy to work with, they are a fine-tuned team where nothing falls through the cracks...in fact, working with Ron will give you a new sense of what follow-up really means! Once we connected with Janis and Ron looking for a new home was far less daunting, especially given the current real estate market frenzy. They listened carefully and found the perfect home for us. Attention to detail and their years of experience took a lot of the stress out of the process, and they were spot on advising us. Exceptional indepth knowledge of the real estate market and the clients (us) by Janis and Ron Collier, lead us to purchasing our dream home in Sarasota in record time. Through her contacts, a preview showing of a home that perfectly fit our needs and desires led to our immediate purchase. The listing and sale of our condo happened just as seamlessly - multiple offers even before the listing hit the MLS, only two days of showings and closing in less than five weeks! After the papers were signed, Janis and Ron continued to work tirelessly attending to all the details to everyone’s satisfaction. We were thinking about purchasing a seasonal home in Sarasota. We contacted Janis over a year ago and explained that it might take a few years before we were prepared to commit and she willingly worked with us on that basis. Equally important was how quickly and completely she understood the lifestyle we wanted in Sarasota and tailored the properties we were shown to meet our lifestyle goals. During our first meeting she provided us with a package of information on the arts and culture in Sarasota .Since we are not Sarasota locals, Janis helped us identify contractors, designers, etc. to assist us getting our new home ready for our arrival in the fall. Ron made the documentation and closing quick and efficient. Finally, both Janis and Ron were always quick to respond to calls and emails. They made the entire purchase experience as stress-free as could be expected. This is a team that goes the extra mile for their clients.

We worked with Janis when we moved to Sarasota as a young family and were very happy with the support she gave us then. Fast forward 20 years and several moves later, we were looking to buy a condo in the Sarasota area, so we contacted Janis. Janis has a fabulous knowledge of the different options in Sarasota and after hearing what we were looking for and our budget, she helped focus our search. Once we identified a property, Janis helped structure our offer to avoid prolonged bidding and to achieve success. Ron Collier, in the background, took care of all the paperwork and in ensuring that we had at least a couple of different options for closing, inspecting, home warranty, etc. Considering we purchased the property without stepping in FL the process was seamless. We were delighted by the experience and highly recommend Janis and Ron!
