I was most impressed by the professionalism and care taken by Debra Pitell in the sale of my Siesta Key home. Although the house never reached the advertising stage, she prepared the sale package extremely well and was most helpful in providing people to get It ready for sale. In a nutshell, if every real estate sales associate was gifted with the professionalism, efficiency, communication skills, intelligence and personality of Debra Pitell, your industry would never suffer a bad name. She is a jewel ... and I never even met her, as this entire transaction was handled by phone and fax. Debra stayed right on top of rapid developments, was an excellent advocate for our interests, went the extra mile to help get the furniture out of the house, coordinated other things that had to be done and I couldn't manage from 1,500 miles away - simply spectacular performance. I have recommended her to other friends in Sarasota.

This letter comes to sing the praises of one of your associates, Ms. Debra Pitell, as a result of her efforts working on my behalf in the sale of a condo in the Siesta Key area. Having practiced law for thirty-two years in various particular specialties, I have had the occasion to come in contact with innumerable realtors all of whom seemed very similar in their effort and in their results. We had, after 15 years as European snowbirds on Bird Key, a successful closing on the sale of our vacation home last week. Over the last two years I have been looking for a permanent home in Sarasota and I will be the first to admit, that I had very strict guidelines and specific requirements for what would meet my current needs.After a lengthy search, Debra showed me a variety of properties throughout both Sarasota and Manatee County. Her thorough knowledge of the area, properties for sale, and experience working with other Realtors helped me narrow my search and find the ideal home to make my first home purchase. During the contract and negotiation process, I was very thankful to have Debra on my side walking me through the different documents and legal requirements. It is rare to find someone that has the ability to remain patient with young buyers and explain all the in's and out's of buying. There is no doubt in our minds that without the assistance of Debra we would not be enjoying living in our current home. When we made the decision to purchase a home in Florida we contacted our local realtor in Maryland to assist us in identifying the best realtor. Jan really pushed me to contact Debra Pitell; she had interviewed her extensively on the telephone and felt strongly that she had the knowledge and competence to handle our real estate needs. We met with her in the beginning of September. Debra was well prepared with the listings and to show homes that she had selected for us. In the short time we exchanged information through telephone and e mail Debra was able to ascertain the type of home and location that would be of most interest to us. We went back to Maryland and through fax and telephone made an offer and had a signed contract in our hand over a weekend. I attribute this to Debra's willingness to be accessible and available to her clients at anytime to ensure that they do not lose an opportunity with the market being as strong as it is. It did not end there either, there were some issues that needed to be resolved and Debra saw each and every one of them through. Thus ensuring everyone a smooth and on - time closing.

Now that we are getting settled into our new home on Longboat Key, we want to take the time to share our thoughts with you about our experience with real estate professional, Debra Pitell-Hauge. From telephone conversations and e-mails, she was quite insightful about detecting our taste and criteria regarding the type of condominium we would like to purchase.. Her organized preparation for our meetings, the selection of properties for viewing, and her communication skills were outstanding. Most of all, her professionalism was second to none. She proved to be extremely knowledgeable in the current real estate market on Longboat Key and the Sarasota area. We felt comfortable and confident that she would guide us in the right direction in choosing a new home for our next adventure through life.
