We walked in off the street in Venice several years ago while vacationing and were warmly greeted by Gail Kelly. When we saw a house go on the “red hot” market and wanted to see it, she managed to get us in. With her help, we realized that pouncing on a property was not going to work for us. She showed us many different new build communities in the area and kept us on her radar even when we returned to upstate New York. When we returned to Toscana Isles in the Spring of 2021, we zeroed in on the model home we wanted and got on a waiting list. She was always there to answer questions and went to bat for us when our name was somehow deleted from the wait list. Ultimately, our home site and model became available in late January 2022, and we closed in November. Gail was patient and always responsive to our emails and calls. We couldn’t have done this without her!

We were very pleased with Gregory Zies. He was more than helpful during the pending contract and before with his comments and advice. He was very helpful with helping us to terminate some things such as the County water, sewer and garbage removal while we were out of the country during closing. .Our purchase was one of destiny. We were spending 2 weeks on Siesta Key after the hurricane and were intent on spending at least one week on beach time and dedicating several days toward looking for a condo we would rent out. At the end of the first week, we met a couple at a Temple Sinai Friday night service and we told them of our plan. They invited us to their home, and we were quite taken with it, so we asked them for the name of their real estate agent as they had been quite satisfied with him and the whole experience he had guided them through 2 years previously. They gave me Larry Kushing's name and number, and we called him and left a voicemail -- He returned our call within 5 minutes. We told him of our interest in The Cascades and asked what was available. There were 2 houses available for us to see, and by that evening, he had set up an appointment for us to see them the very next day. The first was not appealing at all, but the 2nd we immediately fell in love with. We talked it over and he advised us about making a bid as we have lived in our other house for 54 years and are not acquainted with how things are done now. We did all the paperwork by e-signing as we had left Sarasota as planned approximately 7 days after initially seeing the house. He has kept us aware almost daily of what has been going on. He has served as our proxy making many trips to the house to make sure movers moved the previous owner out. He has met with plumbers and handymen and essentially been us as we could not be there. We have repeatedly said that we were truly blessed to have been introduced to Larry Cushing. He is a professional. He has treated us over the years as family. The deal is done, but it is and has not been the end for Larry Cushing, God bless him. We are looking forward to our new life in The Cascades and will certainly pass Larry Cushing along to the next lucky prospective home buyer we may be introduced to
