Much of the Englewood South area encompasses saltwater creeks that provide access to the Intra-Coastal Waterway and Lemon Bay and is highly popular due to its fishing piers, green spaces, and golf courses. A very convenient location to beaches, hospitals, and shopping, many of the area's restaurants are known for their casual dining and tropical atmosphere. A nice mix of older and newer homes, the Englewood South's feature neighborhood is Eagle Preserve—a private, gated bayfront community with predominantly Key West-style homes and endless bay views.
