Maryann Casey recently, 7/16/2021, sold our property on Manasota Key. We want her employer to know that she performed an outstanding job for us under difficult circumstances. Why difficult? Because we priced the property above her recommendation. It took two years to sell what we priced at $3.5M. In the interim, we converted to a rental property to defray expenses. For our asking price, the market was terrible. Over the two years, only a few persons came to view the property. During the rental period, there were instances where renters resisted showings. During all the above, Maryann stuck with us. She overcame hurdles dealing with potential buyers, renters, property service companies, and the agency managing our rentals. Finally, a great 1031 Exchange buyer made an offer that was modestly below our asking price. Are we happy, delighted? Yes. Maryann deserves the highest recognition Michael Saunders can provide. Marybeth helped my mother and I find the perfect new home. We met her in Sarasota while on vacation and we liked her so much that we worked with her through a referral agent in Virginia. She kept in contact with us throughout the entire process to make sure that things were going well, and we now have a contract on my mother’s dream home. We would like you to know that Chris Baylis not only listed our custom home and large property but found us our new forever home. Chris went above and beyond with us and treated us as family members. Through the selling process, Chris dealt in a very ethical and professional manner with our difficult buyer. She made us aware of any requests or demands of that buyer. She even had to help the buyer’s realtor with addendums and problems with her client. Chris educated us on what to look for or what to avoid in the homes she took us to view. She listened to our wants and needs through the entire process, then showed us homes that met those requests. She was quick to respond to our request to see homes or with questions. Chris was extremely professional but has a warmth about her that eases any concerns a seller or buyer may experience. In this busy market, she didn’t let any time pass so we could view and enter offers on homes we were interested in buying.
