My wife, Jessica, and I met Janis while looking for our first home in Sarasota. The most recent sale and purchase also involved her husband, Ron, working with her. What a dynamic duo they are - you simply know that you are getting the best effort and service from this team. Janis was sending us information regarding properties months before we came to actually came to the Sarasota area and started visiting them. We were able to hit the ground running. Once our offer was accepted, Ron was invaluable helping to wind our way to be sure that the property met the association and county rules. He and Janis helped us line up people to look after the home, pool and grounds, since we initially will be snowbirds, and we weren't familiar with the local vendors. The seller's agent was also a part of the Michael Saunders organization. During the walk through the day before closing, the seller's agent's son helped us put up the hurricane shutters, and stayed until he was sure that we were all set. I’ve had the good fortune of benefiting from my daughter and son-in-law ‘s experience when they chose to upgrade to a larger home. Six months have passed since the closing on our purchase of our home in Sarasota. Janis, and husband Ron, zealously represented us through the trials and tribulations of finding the “perfect” home. Through 18 months of negotiations on three prior properties, Janis and Ron always made us feel special and important, and never rushed us. And that our requirements changed through the process made their job much more challenging. Janis and Ron are a perfect team. Janis knows the market like the back of her hand. What an amazing team! Janis is fun, engaging, hugely knowledgeble and dedicated - she even has snacks on hand for hungry teenage boys. Their professionalism and hard work made the buying process so much easier. Ron's experience as a lawyer was paramount - as we live in the UK some of the "legal language' was slightly different. The Collier team work day and night, almost 24/7 (especially with the time difference). Always a positive outlook, great at dealing with problems and simply wonderful every step of the way. We could not have asked for a better experience and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

We live in Pa. and came down to buy a winter home in Sarasota. We worked with Janis Collier and that was an excellent choice.
