Working with Janis to sell our Florida condo was nothing short of a life saver. After my mother's passing, I found myself in charge of a condo out of state and all its contents while simultaneously start a new job and caring for my elderly father who was mourning. Janis took charge and guided me every step of the way. We texted, phoned and emailed as needed and even though I have never met her in person (again, I live out of state), I felt she had my back each step of the way. From finding necessary vendors to stage and set the condo up for success, to all the paperwork, to every decision, she offered clear options for me to choose from. Time and time again, she went above and beyond to help solve problems (like getting a new window installation scheduled) and helped find a wonderful vendor who helped declutter and go through the entire condo to ready it for sale. It was a huge project and she handled it with calm, poise and confidence and with ample communication to ensure I knew exactly what to do and in what order. We sold the condo quickly, during hurricane season, and I couldn't have asked for a better realtor to guide me through this process. In case it's not clear, definitely choose Janis as your realtor. You couldn't ask for better.

Janis was great! As an out town seller she went above and beyond picking out colors and a painter, shopping to purchase a new bedspread and towels to update the look, returning Comcast equipment, removing items from my storage cage as well as bringing outdoor furniture in and out as needed. But most of all was her expert knowledge and understanding of the greater Sarasota market enabling realization of maximum value for my condo.

I struggle to put into words how tremendous our experience has been with Janis and Ron. We literally feel blessed they came into our lives. Why is that? Certainly, Janis brings intimate knowledge about the Sarasota housing market - but that's expected of any realtor. And Ron brings an extensive legal background that simplifies the complex purchasing process - which was awesome and unexpected. But the bigger deal is this: These are two special people. Professionally, they excelled at listening, guiding us toward areas, refreshingly honest thoughts, responsiveness, attention to detail, and even insights about our likely future needs. But above all else, these are folks we loved being around because of their energy, humor, and personalities. With our house now closed, we miss them already! My feeling is Janis and Ron are in the real estate business primarily for the purpose of helping people, and anyone would be lucky to engage with them to buy or sell a property. Run - don't walk - if you have the opportunity to work with them.

Our experience with Janis and Ron Collier was excellent. The process was absolutely seamless and we love our new home at Star Farms in Lakewood Ranch, FL! The Collier's were available to answer our questions and move the process along via text, email and phone on a moments notice. We moved from upstate NY in exactly 7 weeks, start to finish.

This is the fifth (yes, fifth) home we’ve bought or sold with Janis over the years. And, this time we had the pleasure of getting to work with Ron as well.
