We were extremely pleased with Barbara's services in identifying and purchasing this condo. Barbara was exceptional in the professional way in which she did her job. She was recommended to us by a friend, Mark Spiegel, who had purchased a condo in Sarasota in 2018. I first contacted Barabra in late 2020 and talked with her about the Sarasota real estate market and our interest in purchasing a condo there. We came down to Sarasota in early March after we had been vaccinated and spent some time with Barbara looking at different properties. Based on our earlier discussions with her, she made very good choices of the properties that we looked at. We are now happy full time residents in SRQ and have bought two homes and sold one with Barbara May.She is outstanding in every way and belive me I drove her crazy looking at many properties.I learned in the process to listen to Barbara and missed a few she had recommended to my dismay afterwards. Barbara is a real professional knows all the ins and outs of a complicated business, She had wonderful recommendations for services one needs and she always responds quickly to any question you have including doing good research for you when needed on permits etc.She is a delightful, interesting person to work with and I can see why many clients become friends , including myself. You cannot find a better realtor you can have absolute trust on the buy and sell side.

Everything about Barbara Sasson May is above excellent. She was always thoughtful about the properties she was showing us and because of that, we trusted her advice about areas and the possible need to resell in the future. She is fun to be around, so much so I wish I was still shopping for homes. LOLAnyway, I would tell anyone looking for a home in Sarasota to contact Barbara. Not to gush, but she is smart, witty, and always follows through with any request. We both have enjoyed learning about Sarasota from her and look forward to seeing her in the future.

Michael - I want to take this opportunity to respond to your recent letter regarding the recent sale of our Sarasota home. It went better than any real estate transaction in which I’ve been involved.Our realtor was Barbara Sassen May. This was the third and best transaction we’Ve accomplished with Barb. Other than outstanding, I can’t think of just one word to describe her efforts. In establishing our listing price, staging the house for showing, and shepherding us through all the steps from contract to closing, at all times, she was professional, diligent, thorough, responsive, helpful and caring.I can’t imagine all your agents are as good as Barb, but, if they were, I doubt you’d have any complaints or problems.Suzy and Phil

I am certain you have heard this before,but my experience with Barbara May in the search, negotiation, close and follow-up has been beyond compare. And I have bought quite a few pieces of real estate. Barbara knows the business, knows the local real estate market, knows how to work with both the buyer and the seller and understands the concept of great customer service. Barbara represented me this summer in a real estate transaction involving the purchase of a second home condominium in downtown Sarasota. A 5- Star Rating - I found Barbara to be an expert real-estate agent who was highly knowledgeable about the market, pricing, and neighborhoods. She was very efficient in the entire process of my purchase, and attentive to all details and keeping me informed.
