I want to give a shout-out to Judy Nimz. My wife Sara and I own a beach house on Casey Key but decided we wanted more access to Sarasota itself. On the recommendation of a friend from Minnesota who had worked with Judy, we contacted her back in November. At the outset, our search for a condo was not well focused, in terms of what we were looking for, whether we would sell or retain the Casey Key house, and many other questions. In those early months, there were few interesting properties available, and we found it difficult to narrow the search. The only viable option was the Epoch building on Palm Avenue, which didn’t even have the permits to begin construction; we nonetheless put down a deposit to reserve a unit there. But we didn’t like the idea of waiting 2 years for completion. Judy was infinitely patient, continued to show us condos that were listed, and worked her contacts to identify a number of condo properties not on the market, but potentially available. Seeing more properties helped us firm up our decision criteria (space, location, view, etc), and led us to cancel the Epoch reservation. Ultimately, we purchased an 18th-floor unit at the VUE and decided to keep the Casey Key place.Throughout the process, Judy was thoroughly professional, knowledgeable and responsive. She helped us locate a lawyer with condo expertise, and oversaw many details (condo inspection, repairs needed, etc.) prior to close. All in all, she was a joy to work with and a great asset for Michael Saunders & Company.

Judy Nimz was a pleasure to work with. Judy understood our preferences very quickly, made excellent recommendations, and was consistently diplomatic, helpful, and kind. She was patient and knowledgeable, efficient and well prepared, and simply couldn't have been nicer. She was instrumental in helping us find the home we sought, troubleshooting difficulties, and securing it for a fair price. I have already recommended her to a friend and will do so again, with pleasure. She is the best.

Thank you again, Judy! The villa you found for our daughter is perfect, and we are beyond excited for her move to Sarasota. If you hadn't sent us the listing and scheduled a showing the moment it went on the market, we would have totally missed out on this one. She is so thrilled with the pictures; we can't wait for her to see it in person. You are a rock star!

Judy does an excellent job. We bought a home through her in 2009 and she made everything so easy. We have decided to return to Sarasota and she was the first person we called to find us another home and we know she will. Just a delight to work with.

Judy Nimz is a gem! She found us our home, my Mother-in-Law's home, and a vacation rental all in the past year. She is very professional and knowledgeable. Judy is our Google! We trust her opinion so much, that we turn to her for advice more often that we should. When Judy is booked, Bill has jumped in to help by showing us properties as well. He is every bit as helpful and professional. We truly enjoy working with them both.

In 1996, we were fortunate to be assigned Judy Nimz as our buying agent during our relocation from Manhattan to Sarasota. Twenty-one years later, we were again pleased with the accomplishments of Judy acting as our selling and buying agent as we downsized and relocated. Through her tireless efforts, we successfully sold our Sarasota home and acquired a perfect smaller residence in Bradenton. There were many hiccups and difficulties along the way, but Judy’s perseverance and depth of knowledge in the real estate market, together with the efforts of Bill Nimz, her partner, brought us to a very successful conclusion. Never did we feel our smallest requests were a problem for her or any question too far-out-in-left-field to deserve her scrutiny and close attention.

My husband and I decided to sell our home on the California coast (which we loved) and buy a new one in Sarasota. My parents had purchased a home in Sarasota with Judy Nimz as their agent and raved about her. They call her “Mama Judy” because they felt so taken care of. Given their experience with Judy, we decided that she would be best to help us with our new home purchase. Judy went above and beyond introducing us to our new chosen home city of Sarasota. She took us around to various neighborhoods, showed us restaurants and things that we may like based on our interests. She also took care of details and checked in often to see how things were going and to make sure we didn’t miss anything important. In the end we would up with a home we love in an area that we now have a connection to thanks to Judy. We will not hesitate to recommend her to friends.
