We met Mimi Kruk, a realtor in your Longboat Key office, approximately 3 years ago. At the time, we really did not know if, where, and what type of property we were looking for. This did not seem to deter Mimi from her willingness to help us find "our" place. Mimi showed us several houses and condominiums--both on LBK and in downtown Sarasota--to help us hone in on a specific lifestyle and vision. When we returned north, she continued to send us updates and new listings. From our first meeting through our closing, we found Mimi to be exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, honest, and great at what she does. We always believed that Mimi held our best interest top of mind. Because of her dedication, diligence, patience, and tenacity, instead of sticking to our decision to continue to rent during season, Mimi found us our "Happy Place". We closed on April 24, 2024 and plan to frequent every chance we get. In short, Mimi Kruk is a credit to Michael Sanders & Company. Regarding our specific closing experience, as an option, Mimi suggested that we work with MSC Title. We were a bit apprehensive, but we just wanted to keep things simple. Again, another great decision! For our close, we worked with Kate McConnell and Maria Wallace. Both women were very professional, pleasant, meticulous with their work. Our first transaction with Michael Saunders & Company was more than two years ago when we bought a unit at Gulf and Bay through Rudy Dudon. Rudy knew the unit, while exemplary, wasn’t really what we were looking for, but we felt we had to do something to get in the game here at Siesta Key. Rudy continued to stay in touch and continued to look for something better suited for us. Here we are in 2024 and he finally found a unit that we would like, but it was not for sale yet. He stayed on it until the timing was right, and we finally were able to close on it this past March. Beyond that, he was very instrumental in organizing the financing for us while we put our existing unit up for sale, and It did sell about 5 weeks later. We are set to close our original unit within a week. I can’t say enough about Rudy, he has been there every step of the way with his expertise in so many areas and had great suggestions in various areas that saved us a lot of money and aggravation. Anyone who is considering a real estate transaction currently is missing out if it is not through Rudy Dudon. His real estate presence and service is ever present. It’s been a pleasure and we look forward to the next adventure.

We had the privilege of having Cheryl Torres as our realtor. In the past, we have always just gone through an attorney and tried our best to stay away from using real estate agents. We pretty much knew the community we wanted to live in and had friends in the community so getting in wasn’t a big deal. However, everyone in the community that had their house for sale was already going through an agent. One day I called Michael Saunders and asked to speak to an agent. Cheryl Torres called us and what a breath of fresh air. If we had to go with an agent, I wanted her to be it. Such positive energy and explained everything to us. Cheryl did a video walk through of two houses for us after we left town, and was honest in the house she liked best (and it was the least expensive one). After coming back to see it in person, we agreed and made an offer. The deal was closed, but Cheryl continued to help us with the walk through and the inspection, which she attended on our behalf. After the closing day, signing papers etc. she continued to help us get hooked up with getting the water and power turned on, and even went with me to do it. After all was done she continues to keep in touch with us, which we find so refreshing. Cheryl is the way realtors should be! We will always recommend her and she has changed our minds about using realtors to buy a house. Thank you for having hired Cheryl to represent Michael Saunders it says a lot about your company.

Mike Nink did an outstanding job selling my condo on Longboat Key. I’ve known Mike for years from St. Mary, Star of the Sea, Church. When it came time to list, I didn’t consider any other agent. Mike was thorough, professional and efficient. He always answered my questions promptly and provided me with the information I needed in our dynamic marketplace.When I had to abruptly fly to Ohio to help my mom after she had a bad fall, Mike became my trusted eyes and ears on the ground. He took care of any concern I had, as he carefully oversaw the condition of my place in my absence. We just closed on our sale of a Harbour Isle condo, which was listed through your firm. Our brokers, Betsy Hagen and Laura Rulon, were a pleasure to deal with. They were very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. They had seven months of open houses (isn’t that surprising versus a year ago), and never lost that cheerful, positive attitude. Throughout the closing process with all the inspections and repairs, they helped smooth out all the bumps. I recommend them as they are excellent representatives of your firm.

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciated Donna representing me in the purchase of my new home. She is knowledgeable in every aspect of buying and selling real estate. Marketing and people skills come naturally to her, but she also knows this area extremely well. She has a name for anything you need, from insurance to utilities. Kathy and Greg did an excellent job representing us during the sale of our condo. Whenever Greg helped me, he was very attentive and professional. I dealt mostly with Kathy though. As I live in the Midwest, I wasn't sure how this process would work. Kathy went above and beyond a normal sale considering my circumstances of living remotely. She inspected the property for me as I had renters in there, and when I asked her about paying a large fee to have my rental agency do a final walk-through/inspection, she told me their fee was ridiculous and she would do it for me. We spoke and emailed each other several times, and when I had concerns/questions she patiently explained how the process works and calmed any nerves I had about handing over so much "control" to a virtual stranger. Ironically, when I found MSC and decided to have them/Kathy list my property we discovered that I bought the property some 14 years ago through MSC :). Talk about irony. Thanks again to Greg and Kathy for their great service and professionalism.
