We came to Florida in November 2013 to shop for a home in the Venice area. We were being shown around by Magda Whelton, whom we had met at an open house several months earlier. Magda patiently spent an entire week showing us properties that met our requirements, all the while impressing us with her knowledge of the real estate market, her knowledge of real estate laws and practices, and her promptness in getting back to us with answers to our questions. On our last day she showed us the home that we knew was just right for both of us. While we returned north to pack for the movers, Magda took care of all the home inspections and repairs and preparations for the closing, all the while keeping us constantly updated by phone, text, and e-mail. The closing went flawlessly. We now have our dream home in a beautiful neighborhood with wonderful neighbors, and those neighbors include Magda and her family. We had the pleasure of working with Nancy Phillips; a person who is knowledgeable, understanding and always there for you. She took what looked like an impossible situation and made it happen. We wanted to downsize and in a specific area; Nancy found us the home. Our house sold in 1 day with no one coming through it. Michael Saunders & Company are involved in million dollar homes throughout the area. Although our home was not in that category, we certainly knew how it felt to be treated as if it was. Nancy is the ultimate professional and we would recommend her to anyone.

Michael’s thorough knowledge of the Sarasota/Longboat Key markets and his ability to quickly understand our needs meant that the time we spent together was efficient and productive; we never felt rushed or pressured. Michael understood what we were looking for and his expertise in real estate transactions helped us to negotiate a fair price. His follow through was excellent.
