I had an exceptional experience working with Carol Fasick Joyce, who represented me as the buyer. I had originally been working with another agent, but after getting to know Carol, I quickly realized how well she knew the area and how intuitively she understood what I was looking for. Having recently moved here from California, I was living in Old Northeast but really didn’t know enough about the neighborhoods or the nuances of buying a home here. Carol worked tirelessly with me, and ultimately we found the amazing home I’m sitting in today. The transaction wasn’t always easy, particularly the negotiations with the seller and their agent, but I’m 100% convinced Carol got me the best possible deal. More importantly, her experience protected me in ways I didn’t even realize I needed. One example really stands out. When we first walked into the house, Carol noticed a musty smell. I initially dismissed it, but she didn’t. She recommended that we investigate further and helped guide me through the inspections I needed—something I wouldn’t have known how to navigate on my own. Ultimately, moisture was discovered in the crawl space, and we were able to negotiate a significant credit that I’m now using to have the entire crawl space professionally encapsulated. That experience really drove home something I think buyers sometimes underestimate: the enormous value of having a knowledgeable, experienced and truly professional agent representing you. Carol was exactly that. I could not be happier with the job she did for me. Buying a home is a huge decision, and Carol made all the difference in mine.

Please allow this email to serve as my words of appreciation for all the work Mina Johnson did to help me purchase an extraordinary condo and then sell my existing one. If she hadn’t stayed in contact with the seller’s agent, I’m sure I would not have been able to get my bid to be the one the seller accepted. Her encouragement and calm demeanor during the roller coaster that was the purchase and financing of my new unit assured me so much. As well, her gift for staging of my existing condo and the numerous open houses and showings helped me get a very good offer on that unit. At every turn she confidently said that we would sell it. And, you may not know that I sought her out for she was the one who found the condo that my late husband and I purchased in over 8 years ago. That is the one that recently sold. Last, your title company that I used to buy my larger condo was far superior to the one the buyers selected when we all prepared for the closing of my existing condo.

My husband and I recently purchased a condominium on Longboat Key. Our agents, Bobbi Banan and Steven Nursey, were extraordinary in terms of customer service as well as professionalism. They walked us through the process and ensured that everything was handled expediently. It was (by far), the easiest closing we have ever experienced. They showed concern for our needs and answered lots of questions. I look forward to working with them again in the future! I really enjoy working with people who truly enjoy their job. My wife and I just purchased another home on Siesta Key and are preparing to sell our first home. Toni and Mette are handling both ends. In April we purchased our home on Byron Ct. from Erin Halsted and had a good experience with her, so we listed our house in Seagull with her. Erin went above and beyond what a normal realtor would do for a customer. Since we lived in another state, she fixed little things around the house that needed addressed. We really didn't get out of our house what we wanted but Erin was with us every step of the way. We will use Erin if we are in need of any real estate in the area. We will recommend Erin to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in or near Englewood, Florida.
