We would like you to know that Chris Baylis not only listed our custom home and large property but also found us our new forever home. Chris went above and beyond with us and treated us as family members. Through the selling process, Chris dealt in a very ethical and professional manner with our difficult and pushy buyer. She made us aware of any requests or demands of that buyer. She even had to help the buyer’s realtor with addendums and problems with her client. Chris educated us on what to look for or avoid in the homes she took us to view. She listened to our wants and needs through the entire process, then showed us homes that met those requests. She was quick to respond to our request to see homes or with questions. Chris was extremely professional and also has a warmth about her that eases any concerns a seller or buyer may experience. In this busy market, she didn’t let any time pass so we could view and enter offers on homes we were interested in buying. We were outbid on two previous homes, but Chris was determined to find us a perfect home, and she did. I recently closed on a condo at The Players Club. When I initially contacted Maureen Horn regarding exploring the purchase of a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo on the gulf side of LBK, Maureen was very honest about the availability of listings. She reviewed every listing on the market, both 2 and 3 bedrooms, and told me why she did not think they met my needs. She said she wanted to find me what I wanted at a decent price, even though the market is presently unprecedented. When she called me to see if I could FaceTime and look at what she thought would be a perfect fit, I was thrilled. I flew down 3 days later to see the condo in person, and a deal was made. Her partner Jodene, showed me the condo as Maureen was not able to. My husband came down 2 days later, and Jodene showed him the condo. Jodene and Maureen were available for all my questions, made sure I understood what was occurring with repairs at TPC, and helped me research the fees that would be proposed once I owned the condo. I never expected to be able to find what I wanted so quickly in this market, and Maureen knew when she saw this unit that I would love it. I am grateful that she was so attentive and available.

Selling a home is always stressful, but our agent, JoAnne Sckowska, and her assistant, Margie Valentine, were so competent and efficient that the whole process was seamless and, in many ways, even easy for us. We purchased our home in 2009 from JoAnne. She was so professional, patient, and easy to work with then. As time went by, she was always available to keep us informed and up to date. When we decided to sell our home, we never considered talking to any other agent because we already knew that JoAnne is just the best. Everything went very smoothly from staging our home to the showings to right through the closing. Throughout the process, Margie was there to assist JoAnne, and she did that very well. We were impressed with her “people” skills and her attention to detail. Together, they make a wonderful team. We recommend them highly. We would also recommend Michael Saunders as a real estate company. Everyone that we met from the company was friendly and competent. Our experience was just great!

Thank you for your kind letter and making the donation on my behalf to those in need. I recently closed on my dream home for my Mom and me. After losing my Father during the pandemic, my Mother thought that her days of traveling to Florida were over. I wanted to find a place our family could go to and enjoy together. With the extremely tricky Sarasota housing market, I was not sure the dream could be a reality. Then I met Stacy Liljeberg. Stacy understood all my specific needs from the beginning and wanted to make sure I found a home my Mom and I would love. Stacy visited places before I arrived. She helped me understand the market and how to prepare to strike quickly. When I arrived for two weeks in February, Stacy picked me up and dropped me off each day, showing me homes that were in my profile. It was easy to see that she is genuine and honest and has extensive knowledge of the market. She helped me understand Sarasota and all it has to offer. She showed me over ten houses and brought me to homes that were the best fit in a time of very low inventory. She collaborated with me as if we were partners in an investment together. She took a lot of the responsibility that I, being remote, could not easily do. Stacy prepped the Appraiser so he could understand the community with comparables. She introduced me to Matt Lambert, who was also paramount to securing my dream house. Matt provided a professional and personalized experience that went the extra mile. Stacy has gone above and beyond after the closing by offering to help me with lining up contractors, deliveries, and utilities. When I arrive in April, I do not need to worry about many of the headaches of new home buyers. In Stacy and John, I not only had a five-star realtor experience but also formed relationships with friends for life.

We worked with Marcia Culliman on the purchase of our new place. Marcia was tremendous. She worked with us from start to finish, and we are still working with her. She is holding keys for us. Kristen Wheat sold our condo to us last year and sold it for us this year. She is so amazing! She is super smart, kind, and knowledgeable. She works really hard and does the best job!
